1978 Bronco 4x4 "Ranger XLT" rare 4 speed model

This is a rare unique 1978 Bronco.  It has the Top-of-the-line XLT trim with a factory 4 speed.  It also has a strong rebuilt 460 that was professionally installed right down to the factory A/C being hooked up.  You wont find a nicer running and driving second generation Bronco.  The tires are new 31x10.5x15 Goodyears, on factory Ford slotted rims.   This Bronco is 99.99% Rustfree from California.  The only rust is on the bottoms of the doors.  The paint is old and dry but it is basically straight and rustfree.

These Broncos were the last of  the heavy duty Broncos.  This one has the straight axle Dana 44 front, heavy duty NP205 transfer case, NP435 4 speed, and a 9" rear with 3.50 gears.  As mentioned it has a strong 460, power steering, power disc brakes, A/C, factory roll bar, factory quad front shocks, etc.  The suspension is tight, the brakes stop nice, and it has nice sounding duals.   It also has a class III tow hitch, and a nice sounding CD system.

Overall this is a clean, solid, well optioned Bronco in a nice color combination.  You will love how it drives.
